Holly Vee - Bio

Playing Saturday July 24, 2010 at 7:00 pm

H

olly Vee is true homegrown country girl,,who's vocal performance is kick-butt ,high energy ,country -rock! Holly sings from the heart and this is evident with her powerful, soul-filled,and sweet sounding ballads! Holly reigns from Winnipeg, but grew up in the country, and learned the work ethics of life as a commercial fisherman's daughter. Music has always been intertwined with living in her household, growing up, as both of her parents sing and play guitar,,,, so it is no wonder why Holly puts her all into every performance that she does, as it comes naturally to her. It has recently been said that when Holly sings "the hair can stand up on the back of your neck', with her riveting, powerful and yet melodic vocals! Holly is currently performing with the recent release of her CD, titled "LOVE,SPURS, ROCKnROLL" had the accompaniment of Craig Fotheringham, "Spider" Ken Sineauve (Tom Cochrane, Loverboy), Steve Broadhurst, Clint Dutiaume,Tom Dutiaume, Jesse Bandura, Barry Player..the song "Fall in the Firstplace" was written by fellow Canadian Metis woman--Terri Clarke,Gilles Goddard, BobbyTomlerlin (Nashville). Another song off her CD"Undying Love" was recently played on Virginia - USA Earl Clifton Podcasts.. Holly is a proud Metis woman and presently on the nominee list for the Aboriginal Peoples Choice awards for Best single and Best Country Album. Holly Vee's CD was currently included at the Manitoba Museum for Manitoba country artists display. Holly Vee is a solid performer, and will sure to get you movin' an a groovin' to a country rock beat!!
